Lack of Enthusiasm April 5, 2011

The markets are showing us one thing, a lack of enthusiasm. The action in the US markets recently have been a gap up at the opening, then a fairly steady to dropping price action during the day. Trading volume is very light. No one appears to anxious to Buy or Sell.
On the bright side, the economy continues its slow grind up with improving data. Small Cap stocks are showing signs of the most activity, and a willingness to take more risk. Tech and Financials are just blah, nothing much going on here. Emerging Markets are showing some strength & recovery.
Maybe the market feels that the Summer time slow down is here? I feel that any good news could break this market open to the upside, tho we will just have to be patient for now.
hello, really good page, and an amazing understand! one for my book marks.
