First let me Thank over 1,600 views from 28 countries to this blog last year. I am interested in your comments, so please post them. Be aware though that I usually get 50 or more “SPAM” comments, so if I delete your thoughtful comment, please try again. I didn’t do it on purpose. 🙂
This will be a super short post . . because not much happened last week (note chart below; click on it to enlarge). The tax selling did not develop at the end of the year and only slightly after the end of 2013 (why not delay paying taxes 364 days & ring the cash register now ?). The chart shows softness the first 2 trading days of 2014, but look at the volume (circled in red). Just about “average” (the dashed gray line) and not even up to the “heads up” level (the blue line). So, let’s see what happens when the folks get back from their + 2 week vacations.
I call your kind attention to my monthly Client Newsletter which is posted under the ‘Newsletter’ tab above. In it you’ll find the top sectors and pie charts on Price Strength and “Money Flow”. Wishing All a Very Happy & Healthy New Year. ………….. Tom ……………..
